Hotel Viu Milan

Last week I visited Milan, Italy for the first time. The hotel I stayed is located in the North of Milan very close to Chinatown. To travel to the centre of Milan there are a few metro stations located near to the hotel. The metro is very easy to understand and the journey doesn’t take long.

The Rooms

The rooms were lovely and spacious. When I woke in the morning I had a wonderful view of the sunrise over the city, as dawn broke the room was filled with amazing light. The bathroom had excellent bright lighting and all facilities that you expect and more, bathrobe, slippers, hairdryer, etc. In the bedroom there was an Nespresso machine and also a kettle. We were given complimentary bottles of water every day and there was also a mini bar in the room with snacks. The bed was very comfy and plenty of wardrobe space for all the clothing I had taken.

The Breakfast

The Breakfast room is located on the Viu Terrace which is on the top floor of the hotel. During the summer months you are able to have breakfast outside on the terrace and during the winter it’s inside. The views are spectacular. In this case we sat inside and it was absolutely lovely. The pancakes were delicious and the coffee was one of the best I have ever had.

Swimming Pool

The swimming pool is beautiful and would have loved to have sat around it for a few hours. But sadly on the occasion it was too cold. As we visited in the month of November. Hopefully when I  return it will be warm enough to take a dip whilst enjoying this amazing view of Milano.

If you’re planning a visit to Milan then I would truly recommend Hotel Viu Milan for your stay!

Courthouse Hotel Shoreditch

Last week I stayed at The Courthouse hotel Shoreditch for London Fashion Week, this hotel is located in East London. Let me start by telling you some history about the hotel. The Courthouse hotel Shoreditch is set in a Grade II Baroque building that used to be the Old Street Magistrates Court and Police Station. It has held some high cases such as the London mobsters, the Kray Twins who stood trial for ”demanding money through menaces”. Then the police station held the author Eric Arthur Blair who was also known as George Orwell of ”1984” and the well known book and movie ”Animal Farm”.

The hotel has a 196-seat cinema, an indoor swimming pool including a spa. It also has a two-lane bowling alley which is great for private hire and events.

Old street station is just a 8 minute walk from The Courthouse Hotel Shoreditch.

The Rooms

The rooms in the hotel are lovely and spacious. Some rooms have a view of Old Street, Shoreditch. Other rooms have a lounge area with an extra television. Bathrooms have great lighting and include a makeup mirror. All facilities are available when needed for a long stay in the bedroom.

The Breakfast

Breakfast was delicious with a choice of hot and cold buffet. Staff were incredibly friendly and couldn’t be more helpful.  If there was anything else you wished for they would do there best to provide it.

Bowling room

The bowling room which has a two-lane bowling alley as I explained in the introduction is available for private hire and events.

Upper 5th Shoreditch

Upper 5th is the rooftop bar at the hotel and has amazing views over Shoreditch & East London. It has a lovely outdoor bar with great seating and a super cool swing decorated with flowers which is great for a Instagram worthy photo. The rooftop bar is amazing for for those sunset moments.

Jailhouse bar

The Jailhouse bar is located on the ground floor next to reception. This is one of the most unusual bars I have ever experienced. You can sit in the main bar or chill out in one of the cells, all original including the cell doors.

After 12 pm everyday they serve Afternoon tea Shoreditch style.

Good Morning,

Haven’t used my blog in ages but back for now with hopefully some new upcoming posts. For today’s post I will be talking about the Bluxbox which I have recently tried. Let me first explain a little more about it.

BLUX is a beautybox company in The Netherlands. Each month they deliver a box between 8 to 10 products for 29,95 euro. The products inside always add up to around 100 euro. If you are interested and would like to check out the website.

Here is the link to it -> bluxbox.nl

The BLUX box is only available to be sent in The Netherlands and Belgium.

I have been sent a box to test and was very happy with the outcome and with the products that were inside the box. Each month you can order a box with different products and brands inside of your beauty box.

Give it a try and order a box yourself, you are always able to cancel the subscription of your box.

ROMWE USA HOODIE ♡

I received this lovely USA hoodie, which is pretty comfortable for when you go skiing and want to wear it over your t-shirt and keeps you pretty warm. It is also very nice and bright and colourful if you don’t want to be lost along the mountains. This is also very nice to wear around the city. Also it’s very different to what I usually wear but thought this was great and to take a risk in wearing something different to stand out.

I love the blouse and denim skirt which really match together and how the shoes and bag match as a combination. Also because it’s a big trend and quite in at the moment I added this necklace which I wear myself a lot at the moment when going out.

3 x what to wear for Fall ♡

Park stroll Outfit ♡

FullSizeRender (29).jpg

As Summer is soon coming to end, we have Fall coming next which is still quite pleasant. In Fall you are still able to wear spring type of clothes but it’s heading towards Winter sadly. In Amsterdam (The Netherlands) you normally in Fall can already feel like it’s winter. During Fall it’s nice to wear burgundy and combining slightly dark colours together as an outfit and also it’s the time of Halloween. Today I will show you some of my favourite looks for Fall which you can combine going anywhere such as the city or just a stroll through the park.

Look 1 –  This look is so nice because it really brings a Fall vibe and makes those burgundy colours stand out. Strolling through the park with all the colourful leaves woud look amazing. I love wearing skirts but of course you can combine this with tights to. I prefer without but with would go to.

Look 2 – I am absolutely in love with this outfit combination and I would definitely wear this wondering around the canals and streets of Amsterdam. It’s casual but brings that fall feeling too which I love. The colours would really match the type of weather that Amsterdam has. Of course you can add a bit of jewellery and other accessorise to this outfit. Bringing back the legging which is trendy and so comfy to wear during fall.

Look 3 – This look I really like the trendy but casual twist to it. Bringing that black and white vibe to fall. Also bringing back the long high kneed boots with casual dresses which is a great combination. I love the simple looks and long dresses which you can combine with these boots. Casual but great I would say.

OOTD – 5th August 2017 in Madrid

Yesterday (5th of August 2017), I was in Madrid for 1 day and absolutely loved it and enjoyed it. The reason why I was there for 1 day is because I have already seen everything before when I came 2 years ago so instead I went to do things which I hadn’t done yet. As my OOTD in Madrid in the 38 degrees, I wore this amazing two piece outfit which I loved and was perfect for the weather and temperature (also good for getting a tan in) and it felt so summery and nice to wear.

Amsterdam Fashion Week Experience ♡

On 16th July 2017 (Yesterday), i went for the first time to Amsterdam Fashion Week by Mercedes-Benz with my mom who loves fashion like I do. I absolutely loved it and had a great time. The only thing I thought was an absolute joke was when we were stood in the queue from 15:30 and waited for about 20 minutes before we could go in and then waited another 10 minutes inside the venue before the fashion show started and when the show started it only lasted 10 MINUTES!!!. So you basically pay and spend about 80 euro just for a 10 minute show. We sat on row 6 but we could have sat anywhere basically because nobody checked our tickets only at the entrance but many other people just sat anywhere they wanted to sit (I could have sat on the first row with nobody knowing ahaha). Anyway I had a great experience of what a fashion show is like and hopefully see more in the future which will hopefully last a bit longer. I also payed 20 euro for a goodie bag which was totally worth it!! I have filmed a youtube video on it which will be posted soon on my Youtube, Stay tuned!!. The goodie bag was so heavy that now I have so much pain in my shoulder from carrying it. There was so many nice cute stands where you could get Magnum Ice cream or drinks and even a restaurant if you wanted to have some dinner. I would totally come back to Amsterdam Fashion Week and maybe research more about the designers to know if it was woman or men modelling. Because the show we went to see was ”Mercedes-Benz Prague Fashion Week by Jan Cerny”. It was a great show and I loved the atmosphere and music which was played during the fashion show. Down below are some pictures of my first time experience at Amsterdam Fashion Week. I would definitely recommend going to Amsterdam Fashion Week especially if you love fashion like I do. For the fashion show I wore my outfit from SheInOfficial which I absolute love (You can read about it on my last post). My sunglasses are from ShopIsabelli.
